RANKED AMONG THE TOP FIVE HOTEL BRANDS WORLDWIDE, One&Only Resorts—in collaboration with LMLC—is bringing its first U.S. resort to the breathtaking landscape of Moonlight Basin. Scheduled for a full opening in the summer of 2025, the resort and residential project will include multiple lodges, a new gondola, restaurants, a world-class spa, 73 guest rooms, 19 guest cabins, 62 private homes, and 8 private estates. LMLC partnered with Seattle-based architecture firm Olson Kundig to ensure the resort integrates into the awe-inspiring landscape of Moonlight Basin.

Guests will enjoy amenities including an outdoor heated pool, hot tubs, a full-service spa, six distinct restaurants and bars, and endless outdoor activities. The entire resort will be open to the public. Sky Lodge, One&Only’s public ski lodge, opened in December 2024 and is accessible via a gondola connecting the Madison Base Area at Big Sky Resort to One&Only. Lunch, après, and dinner service will be available Thursday through Sunday throughout the 2024/2025 winter season.

In addition to One&Only’s dedicated gondola, the Moonlight side of Big Sky has received another major upgrade: Madison 8, a brand new eight person chairlift, has replaced Moonlight Basin’s Six Shooter lift.

With the addition of the Madison 8—the longest eight-person lift in the world—Big Sky is now the only ski resort in North America with three bubble D-line lifts and two eight-seater chairlifts. Madison 8 will not only double uphill capacity but also cut ride times, giving guests faster, more comfortable access to the north side terrain from the Madison Base.
